City of Encinitas 5K
This fun-filled community event is held annually and is a USA Track and Field sanctioned event. Our downtown race features free refreshments, a popular full color t-shirt and goody bag for all participants. Medals are handed out to all youth runners and walkers. Race Course takes runners/walkers through downtown Encinitas.

Entry Fee:
- 5K Run/Walk, $20.00
- Seniors (55 & over), $15.00
- Youth (12 & under), $15.00
- 1K Run/Walk, $10.00
- After 5/10/08 add, $10.00
All participants receive a collectable full-color race t-shirt and goody bag, post race refreshments. All youth participants receive medals. Award medals to top 3 finishers in each age group.

Awards:
The awards ceremony will be held in the upper parking lot at Moonlight Beach on the stage within the expo area at 10am sharp. All youth participants receive medals after crossing the finish line. Top 3 finishers in each age group will receive an award.
Details:
Race starts on 3rd & B st. and continues south to K st. turnaround then returns north before heading south on 2nd st. from F st... Runners then turn around at K and return on 2nd st. to C st. before looping back to F st. and continuing to 4th and heading north to the finish at the Moonlight Beach parking lot. Enjoy this terrific course in the perfect climate of coastal North County San Diego.
